Published: 2023-10-08

Cut-leaf grape fern, Sceptridium dissectum, is found in many places in the Eastern United States, but seems to be limited to just this geography. Only one observation in Mexico, but no where else.

S. dissectum has two distinct structures, the sterile frond and the fertile cluster on a high stalk growing out of the frond. The fertile stalk is longer than the stipe of the frond.
