Appalachian Polypody
Appalachian polypody, Polypodium appalachianum, is found almost exclusively along the Appalachian Mountains of the Eastern and Southern United States. A few observations are in Central America.

It is very similar to P. virginianum. It likes rocks too. The difference P. appalchianum is longer and narrower, and of, course, harder to find.
